Corporate Citizenship

Through collaboration on sustainable development in national, regional, and international initiatives, as an active owner and investor, and by actively participating in public discourse, Storebrand aims to take an active role in contributing to positive societal development.

Our corporate citizenship

Sustainability is central to Storebrand’s purpose and value creation. We provide our customers with financial security and freedom through responsible management of savings and pensions, insurance solutions, and financing of home ownership. As a leading financial institution, we invest in the future by helping drive the transition to a more sustainable society – through engagement with public authorities, sharing knowledge, and supporting initiatives that create lasting positive impact.

Participation in alliances and networks

Storebrand participates in national and global networks and alliances to help accelerate the transformation of society and share insight that provides a better basis for decision-making for our customers.

Participation in public debate

We seek to contribute to ambitious, long-term public policy and strong action in the business sector. Storebrand aims to influence climate and nature policy through dialogue with public authorities, industry organisations, and other stakeholders. We also encourage authorities to implement policy measures that help reduce the number of people living with long-term disability.

Supporting socially beneficial projects

Storebrand funds projects that promote positive social development. We support local initiatives through the "Vi heier på" grants in Norway and the "Klart du kan" grants in Sweden.

Focused on sustainability

Work on climate, nature, social conditions and corporate governance is central to our business, investments, products and operations. We are recognised for this work internationally.
