Storebrand Sustainability Award
Storebrand has worked with sustainable investments since the late nineties. As Norway's largest private asset manager and one of the largest in the Nordics, we use our position to influence companies to constantly improve, particularly in the area of sustainability.
Rationale for the award
Construction and property are referred to as the 40 percent sector in terms of environmental impact in the world, and the challenges are enormous. Every year, real estate players invest large resources in the development of new and existing buildings. Storebrand Real Estate wants to contribute to the green shift in commercial property, and will promote holistic efforts for environmental, economic and social sustainability.
Storebrand Sustainability Award is an annual award, first launched in 2021 in Norway. Our ambition going forward is to expand the award to Sweden and Denmark.
We have established a sustainability award to recognise real estate players who challenge established practice, lead the way and share their knowledge so that the entire industry can become more sustainable.
