New Solutions Fund: Storebrand Smart Cities

A new Solutions Fund har just been added to the family: Storebrand Smart Cities! The fund invests in companies with products and services that contribute to three central themes that lay the foundation of success for smart cities: Urban planning, mobility and water management.

 

Portfolio Manager of the fund, Sunniva Bratt Slette, will build on years of experience in the field of smart city development and climate finance. Knowledge capacity on state of the art solutions investing is built in close collaboration with her colleagues in team Solutions and across Storebrand Asset Management.
Within urban planning, sub-themes like energy efficiency, green and affordable housing and urban infrastructure are central. In the mobility segment, the focus is on electrification, public transport and micromobility. Water management consists of water purification, climate adaptation and water infrastructure and technology.
Some exciting solution companies in the fund as of September 9th 2021 are the Swedish construction developer Skanska, Danish insulation producer Rockwool, Finnish water management firm Uponor, Norwegian electric charging manufacturer Zaptec, French electrification pioneer Schneider Electric and the US green finance firm Hannon Armstrong Sustainable Infrastructure Capital.
